چکیده
Greenery strategies and shaded pedestrian passages have become requirements for designing smart cities in developed countries. One of the most difficult challenges designers is hot arid climates while maintaining a proper level outdoor thermal comfort. The focus on creating comfortable climate people throughout afternoon under sun, particularly countries where summer temperatures rise excessively more than seven months per year, as Iraq. This study compares two Baghdad cities: Haifa Street, which was built 1984 Western design pattern, second city, researchers designed according to construction an climate, such street building orientation, aspect ratio, sky view factor, influence courtyards, role albedo. city planned cover same total area first. results were compared analyzed using ENVI-met software. To conduct comparison between typical day, indices, PMV Tmrt, used. showed that proposed new reduced Tmrt PMV, contributing improved value model by 10.5°C proportions 90% urban area. Furthermore, suggested offers superior values day Street.

Ecosystem Biomimicry: A way to achieve thermal comfort in architecture
The strategies to reduce the consumption of non-renewable energies in buildings are becoming increasingly important. In the meantime, nature-inspired approaches have emerged as a new strategy to achieve thermal comfort in the interiors. However, the use of these approaches in architecture and buildings requires a proper understanding regarding the features of ecosystems. Although acquiring this...

Increasing the population of cities and the growth and development of urban planning on the one hand and climate change on the other hand has affected the thermal balance of cities and has created thermal islands, so attention to the impact of design on the thermal comfort of urban spaces has become important. The study of the thermal performance of yards as common spaces between urban scale an...

Nanotechnology promises to improve the quality of human life, but it has also provoked concerns about potential adverse health effects on workers, the environment and consumers. Effective risk assessment and risk management of nanotechnology requires: 1) knowing how engineered nanoscale particles (NPs) can gain entry into the human body (routes of exposure); 2) knowing whether engineered NPs ca...
متن کاملAdaptive thermal comfort and sustainable thermal standards for buildings
The origin and development of the adaptive approach to thermal comfort is explained. A number of the developments in the application of the theory are considered and the origin of the differences between adaptive thermal comfort and the ‘rational’ indices is explored. The application of the adaptive approach to thermal comfort standards is considered and recommendations made as to the best comf...

2014 The concept of dwelling is connected with the thermal comfort problem. Radiatively out of balance volumes may agree physiologically and psychologically with the ideal preferred comfort. Nevertheless taking into account vertical and horizontal gradients is a necessity, as well as other parameters of influence like air temperature, air velocity, hygrometry, activity and clothing. The mean ra...
